The Plan

Parenting services

Becoming a parent is one of the most rewarding things a person can do, and it is also one of the most challenging. Many struggles of raising a child are not openly talked about, or we feel shame and stigma for saying that we are struggling. It can feel frightening to admit that we need help, but therapy can assist you in navigating these issues.

Whether you are considering having a child, prenatal or postpartum, or you’ve been a parent for years, our trained therapists can help you process the events of parenthood, learn how to best communicate with your child and your partner, and cope with the stressors of raising children.

Together, you and your therapist will identify your past and present experiences within a family and how that impacts your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will also work to better understand, and feel more confident in your parenting style, improve your patience and resilience with your children, and manage your expectations around parenting.
